leighton at seven months

This is Leighton Matthew at seven months old, in what could be his cutest picture to date. Here are some of Leighton's favorite things: Being Grabby McGrabberton: he likes to grab at everything, especially drinks, just ask Leigh about his 13hr plane trip with a cup of coke all over his jeans. Saving Smelly Daipers: he likes to save the planet, so he waits at least a three-day period between #2's, and then makes full use of the daiper. Smiling: his whole face lights up when he smiles, his eyes, nose, and maybe even his ears. Chomping at the Bit: we think he is ready to tackle Filet Mignon the way he attacks food, whether it be mother's milk, baby food, Bella's hair, Dad's hat, or any inanimate object within arms reach (see Grabby Grabberton above) Rollin' Around: he is no longer a spectator, he likes to get around now, rolling back and forth from tummy to back Sitting Up: he is a big fan of sitting up, as I think it makes it easier to eat... he is getting his balance pretty good, but occasionally doubles-over.

trip to the pool

No trip to the pool is complete without floatie bag and pool key necklace. Leighton is not happy about not being in the pool, or having all attention paid to him. The Elmo Noodle is a very important part of Bella's life these days though she hasn't prayed for it yet. Jumping in to Jana. Elmo saves yet another kid from drowning.
