leighton: sweet shorts

My mother is very proud of her shorts she bought for me the other week... here are some picks of me wearing them. Daddy insisted I needed a prop. Enjoy!

bella: garden state

A few months ago Tina bought me a tomato plant and planted it in the side-yard for me. Now it is time to reap the harvest and we are collecting lots of tomatoes from the plant. At last count we had 18 tomatoes growing. Here is a pic of me with some of the harvest (in my pyjamas).

bella and leighton: car seats

Leighton just graduated to a full-size car seat... he is very excited. In light of him enjoying a good spit-up, we decided to give him Bella's seat, and upgrade Bella to the brand-new seat. There was no ceremony, just a changing of the seat-belt heights... here is a snapshot...

Leighton: stand up!

It's Leighton here. I love to climb, and then stand up, and sometimes projectile vomit while standing up. It's fun. Here are some pictures of me and my sister as I stand up and slobber on my parents' couch! Note: I have a sweet tank top on in these pictures.

bella and her children

This is Bella. I have four children I take care of all day. they are: Wowo the Dog - he is the oldest, he is a dog, but one of the two kids I have. Ai-Ai - she is a Cabbage Patch doll, the other of my two kids. Alessi - he is one of the two babies, named after my friend Lachlan's dog in Australia. Tino - she is the youngest baby, and is named after Tino, our gardener who comes to our house on Wednesdays. The real Tino is a man though, just thought you should know. Here is a picture of all of us... Wowo, Alessi, Me, Tino, and Ai-Ai

bella & leighton: hiding place

Leighton crawled underneath his Exersaucer, then Bella and her babies joined him... fun times!

the picture says it all...

No, it wasn't set up. Yes, it's the cutest thing ever.

bubbly Leighton

I love the bath... splashing with my sister, playing with bubbles, peeing freely on contact with water, and trying to crawl out of a slippery bath tub.

bella & daddy: the merry-go-round

bella: big girl bed

Yesterday I got to spend the day with Nana and Poppa up in the mountains... when I came home in the evening, to my surprise, my crib had been transformed into a big girl bed! It's very big and I can roll around, and even have my parents lay on the bed with me... I am sure it won't be long until one of them fall to sleep in my bed. I think it will be Mommy who falls asleep first!

bella: my first art piece

Daddy needed some new artwork in his office, and I had just the idea. All I needed was a 2x2ft canvas and some pink and brown paint... once Daddy gets around to hanging it in his office, I'll have him take a picture and blog about it...

bella: at the carwash

Daddy and I washed the cars yesterday. First Mummy's car, then Daddy's car, then I wanted to wash my wagon. It's really clean now.

bella: overnighter

Here I am , ready to spend the night at Nana's! Nana, Alex and I are going to spend the night in a tent in the backyard. My secret fear is that turtles are going to crawl in our tent.

leighton: at eight months old

Here I am, eight months into life. Some of my current hobbies include, but are not exclusive to: Scooting on my tummy, and occasionally on my knees. Eating. Waiting impatiently to eat. Spitting up on people. Learning to clap. Smiling.

bella: some of my work

Daddy gave me a camera and I took some pitcures of Nana when we were doing the lemonade stand. You can see some of my work below. I like the "straight" poses, as well as bringing in some artistic flair....

leighton: my room

I had Dad take some pics in my room... it is pretty much cool cricket stuff. I don't really know what cricket is, but hopefully one day I'll know how to bowl a wicked googly.

lemonade stand

With the help of Nana, Bella, Alex and friends set up a lemonade stand on the street last Friday night... the pricepoint was inspired by Elmo, when he set up a lemonade stand on one of his DVD's and sold cups for 5 cents. I am sure The Donald would have had trouble with this pricepoint, but it all worked out great. After watching operations for about 2 hours, I'll never drive by another lemonade stand without stopping and buying. I loved it, and there were some great people that stopped and sipped on some cool lemonade!
