day of boardies

Boardies: commonly referred to as Boardshorts in America, and Boardies in Australia. The lake was the destination, and boardies were the fashion.

bella: bunny ears

Easter Breakfast at Modjeska Canyon

We had a great time down in Modjeska Canyon with family and friends... a great table in the shade, some yummy pancakes, and plenty of playtime for the kids at the park next to the FireHouse... another great year!

Easter morning at the House

An excited Bella was up early to see if the Easter Bunny had passed by... a confused Leighton was just happy because Easter Eggs look like balls!

easter egg hunt

Here are some picture from the Easter Egg Hunt we went to yesterday in Mission Viejo. There was a really competitive spirit, but Bella rose above and simply enjoyed the challenge of finding copious amounts of candy in an open field! Oh, the kids also got to stand on the fire truck, just warming up for Easter Breakfast at the Modjeska Canyon FireHouse the next day!

bella: banged my head

The other day I was sitting on the counter (bench) at our house... well, I lost my balance and then tumbled all the way to the tile floor. The side of my face took most of the impact. It hurt! I was a little off-color for the rest of the day, then just before dinner started throwing up. Mommy and Daddy didn't like this, so we got to to the ER so the doctor could check me out. The doctor said everything appeared fine, then I thought I would throw up in front of him. So, he said it was time for CT (cat) scan. We went i na special room, and I didn't see any cats anywhere, but what I did see was a table that went into a huge donut. I got to take the ride on the table into the donut and was a very brave girl. After doing the scan the doctor took a look and he said everything was alright, but that Mommy and Daddy had to keep an eye on me that night. well, it all ends well, I am fine now. Please make sure if you ever fall, try not to fall on your face.

bella and leighton: at the park

Bella likes to find a bar to hang off and swing away... shoes are optional. She also likes to manage Leighton's playtime and make sure he gets off at the bottom of the slide. Leighton likes to make his way up to the slide, whichever way he can. Walk, crawl, hang-on... as long as he gets there. When he does, he manouvres into position, feet-first on his tummy, then off he goes. Here are some pics of one of our almost daily trips to the park.

No description needed...

leighton: pre-st patricks day

Don't know if I have Irish roots, but I look like a sweet leprauchan with this hat on!

bella: material look

Nana and I have been doing some sewing and she left a bunch of leftover material in the playroom, so, I started accessorizing!
