autumn's wedding

From Bella: We all went to a family wedding this last weekend... Mummy's cousin Autumn was getting married. We had lots of fun, and here are some pics! I thought Autumn looked beautiful in her dress, and I liked dancing with her. I also got to dance with Poppa, plus Alex and I did lots of dancing too!

bella: a letter my Daddy found

My Daddy found this letter he wrote to me whe he was away back near Christmas last year... here is what it said... Bella, I missed you this week -I wish I could come in and see your smiling face first thing in the morning -I wish I could smell your stinky breath, but still give you a kiss anyway because I love you so much -I wish I could have picked out some cool clothes for you to wear, then send you in to see Mum so she can check you out -I wish you could have asked me to sit down and eat breakfast with you at your little table -I wish you could have come up and visited me in my office to show off your hairstyle -I wish I could have helped you put your shoes on, even though you think you can do it yourself -I wish I could have told you stories about the adventures of Alex and Izzy -I wish you could have helped me change Leighton's daiper -I wish I could have heard you say "go home", even though we were pulling out of our driveway -I wish I could have heard you say "eat" as soon as we finished dinner -I wish I could have put your warm snuggly pyjamas on you -I wish we could have prayed together for all the people in the world you remember -I wish you could give me a kiss and a squeeze before bed, even before I ask for one -I wish I could see you smiling as you cozy up to Wo-Wo and close your eyes I'll see you tonight and stop wishing!

bella: my first day at preschool

This afternoon was a big moment in my life... my first day at PreSchool. Mummy cried before I even went into the classroom. I cried when Mummy and Daddy left the classroom. It was a tough first day, as class time was pretty much during my naptime. I like my teacher, her name is Mrs Carruthers. I go back to class next Monday afternoon, I'll let you know more adventures then!

bella: my preschool bag

Thanks to: Joannes Arts and Crafts, for supplying the elements for this creation. My Mummy, for picking out the crafty stuff. Nana, for using her sweet sewing skills and putting it all together!

bella the birthday girl

Today I turned three years old! It was a fun day... -Daddy took me to the donut store for breakfast in my pyjamas -Tina came over and brought me a cake -Mummy had some of her friends over and I showed them my skills in the jumpolene -Nana & Poppa came with us to dinner at my favorite place, In & Out (I love In & Out) -We sung Happy Birthday -I got some really nice books sent to me all the way from Australia (that mailman travelled very far) Wow, it can wear you out being three... time for bed!

leighton and the Stanley Cup!

Last night, thanks to Uncle Aaron, we got to go see the Stanley Cup... I have no idea what it really is, but I did go to a couple of Ducks games this year! Uncle Aaron even put me in the top of the Cup, and I felt really comfy there... enjoy the pics! Note: for people who don't know, the Stanley Cup is awarded to the winner of the NHL (National Hockey League) and tradition has it that each member of the team get's the trophy for a day!

lounging at the house

In memory of the first weekend of NFL, and an exciting weekend of golf, Bella and Leighton wanted to show some of their best couch poses of Sunday afternoon. Enjoy...

bella & leighton - cruising

We have a new place to play! Yes, it's a trailer, and yes, it goes behind a bike. Yes, our Daddy has been pulling us all over the neighborhood. We even took a trip to the donut store yesterday morning, three miles downhill there, three miles uphill back. I think Daddy liked the ride there best. We'll keep you updated about our adventures in the bike trailer.

quotabella

At Nana's house last week: Nana: "Do you want mustard on your sandwich?" Bella: "No, I only eat mustard at my house. I want chips in my sandwich" Nana: "Who taught you to put chips in your sandwich?" Bella: "Jesus." At Nana's house this week: Bella looking at an old family picture from before she was born... Bella: "I'm not in this picture." Nana: "No you weren't born yet." Bella: "I was in Mummy's tummy. Leighton not in picture too." Nana: "No, he isn't" Bella: "He was in Daddy's pants because no room in Mummy's tummy."

Well, not a bay, but Doheny State Beach... he did lay by the bay and make things out of clay, he just may. Thanks to Aunty Cassie for the sweet Billabong rashie! P.S. - check out my two-front teeth.
